Day 11 - JTT Practice NEW YORK

Day 11, great job. Two more weeks to go before Sectionals, everyone is "looking good" and moving in the right direction. Ten players attended today's session: Alison, Becky, Bryan, Eric, Katie, Justine, Karli, Haley, Peter and Sawyer. Ali was injured at softball, get better. Consistency drill lasted all of, what 1 minute, exactly what we want to see. Starting to move to match play. Getting that necessary practice and footwork and practice and moving your feet and practice. Weather, cloudy but there was no wind and the temperature was up. On track.

Day 10 - JTT Practice New York

OK, we have seen most everyone going to New York. It has been a privilege. Today's weather, windy with a temperature of 68. Review, nothing wrong with consistency, nothing wrong with being aggressive, just need to know when. That is what it is all about, Life Lesson, knowing WHEN wins. Had 10 players show up, Ben, Becky, Haley, Karli, Justine, Sawyer, Bryan, Alison, Katie and Ali. Ali needs to get a star, anytime you come down to a practice, warms up and say you can't make it gets a star. Thanks for being considerate. Never knew such a fine line between a forced error and an unforced error, certainly have a cerebral team pointing out the differences, Ben, Becky, Sawyer and Bryan.

DAY 9 - JTT Practice NEW YORK

Ok, all is moving in the right direction. Really appreciate the effort, playing outside your "comfort zone" makes you so much the better player. Weather, perfect, well almost perfect, would like the temperature in the 70's. We had nine, modern day record, thanks for coming Haley, Karli, Justine, Taylor, Sawyer, Bryan, Alison, Katie and Ali. Alison deserved a Gold Star for shot placement and Ali gets a silver star for practice above and beyond. Alison and Katie defeated Taylor and Sawyer in 25's showdown. The consistency end of the practice goes to Sawyer, Katie, Haley and Justine, with a perfect 76, no double bounces, no out balls, just consistency, great job. Life lesson, let's see, "nothing wrong with moving your feet."

Day 8 - JTT PRACTICE NEW YORK

Well we are getting there, had a total of 8 players. Bryan, Alison, Ali, Katie, Peter, Taylor and Justine. Also, Becky came had a good hit with Brian and myself. Bryan and Peter worked on consistency getting 122 in a row. Katie, Alison, Ali and Taylor hit a 100, with as much excitement and fanfare possible. It isn't the most glamourous drill but it works, nothing wrong with no misses. By the way, weather not bad, hit the 60's. Played rounds of "death" and a new game. Working on footwork, movement, volleys all that fun stuff. Really like the improvement. Gold star effort. If anyone has a life lesson, please add it.
